Author’s Note — this is Watson. a Flat Retriever, which is an actual breed but is really a black golden retriever with a white ascot under the chin. Watson wrote this story just a couple of weeks before crossing the rainbow bridge in August 2020. I stumbled upon it and thought this would be a good time to share.
